Together with the "Maple Hope Foundation" (Canada), the Charitable Fund "International Association for Support of Ukraine" organized psychological trauma training for Ukrainian psychologists, developed by Dr. Daria Shevchuk, a Canadian trauma specialist of Ukrainian descent, accredited by the Canadian Veterans Association.

Dr. Daria Shevchuk is an educator and registered psychologist with over 35 years of experience providing therapy to people of all ages who have experienced psychological trauma in various ways.

Trainings for psychologists VTP "I've Returned"

This course was specifically designed for psychologists and broadened their understanding of psychological trauma, focusing on the differences between childhood and adult trauma.

The purpose of the course was to discuss targeted trauma assistance in the context of trauma awareness. It covered advanced theories and practices for working with traumatized children, teenagers, adults, and families.

The course proved valuable for professional psychologists working with trauma patients, including veterans, their families, first responders, and victims of domestic violence. Necessary qualifications included counseling skills, a professional interest in trauma, resilience to stress and trauma, and commitment to the program.
