Since March 2014, the future founders of the Charitable Fund "International Association for Support of Ukraine" have organized treatment for those severely injured during the Revolution of Dignity in clinics in Austria, Germany, and France. Within a few months, dozens of Maidan participants requiring rehabilitation after surgeries were treated abroad. To facilitate this rehabilitation, we reached out to the Slovak government and received a positive response. Thus, in April 2014, a six-year collaboration began between the Charitable Fund "International Association for Support of Ukraine," the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, and the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SlovakAid) in rehabilitating Revolution of Dignity participants and combat veterans.

The rehabilitation took place in the facilities of the three-star "Granit" hotel chain: Hotel GRANIT Tatranské Zruby, Hotel GRANIT Piešťany, and Hotel GRANIT Zemplínska Šírava. The "Granit" network offers a wide range of spa services, including hydrotherapy, saunas, massages, various types of wraps, inhalations, phototherapy, and electrotherapy. The hotels also provide excellent accommodation and meals.
Over six years, more than 1000 participants of the Revolution of Dignity, combat veterans, and their family members had the opportunity to undergo physiological rehabilitation combined with psychological recovery.
